We can receive it
Have suppliers deliver here. Overhead doors are 12′ × 14′. We unload and store as arranged.

Bridge crane hook at 17′. Or park the crane and stack with forklifts toward the trusses.

More than a storage unit
When you run out of room, you do not have to lease another building. Use our floor for inventory, materials, equipment, or supplies, and keep your own shop focused on the work.
The main bay is 22′ to the bottom of the trusses. The overhead bridge crane clears 17′ to the bottom of the hook. If the crane needs to travel the bay, we keep about 16′ clear under its path. If you do not need the crane, we park it at one end and forklifts can stack toward the trusses. That uses the full height of the bay and holds more in the same floor space.

Harris Street Storage is an off-site warehouse in Putnam, just off I-395. We receive supplier freight through 12′ × 14′ overhead doors, unload it with a forklift or the bridge crane, and hold it until you need it at the shop or at the yard.
About an hour to Electric Boat in Groton. Under an hour to Quonset Point. Useful when a delivery lands before the yard will take it, when a project needs staging, or when you do not want to lease another building.

Space & terms

Extra help if you need it
Pickup and delivery, third-party trucking, crane or heavy fork work, trash removal, and crating — quoted and approved first.
Ready when you are.
Receiving and pickups are by appointment so the floor stays safe and organized. Escorted access is usually available with 1–2 hours’ notice. After-hours access can be arranged.
